My yoga journey started in 2008 with the Iyengar style, the most analytical version of modern yoga and a rather fitting style for a scientist! After only a few months of practice, I realized that yoga had become much more than just a workout - it was an integral part of my life. I also started exploring other yoga styles such as Hatha, Vinyasa and Power yoga. In late 2013, I completed my first 200 hour teacher training with Frog Lotus Yoga and began teaching alongside a full time job. In the summer of 2016, I relocated to India and completed a second 200 hour YTT program with Aayana Yoga, Bangalore.

At present I am based in Bangalore and offer Hatha and Vinyasa yoga classes. I like creating new sequences, exploring challenging asanas and fusing yoga with popular fitness trends. For me, teaching yoga is more than sharing the knowledge of asanas and pranayama with students and empowering them to lead healthy lives. It is a humbling exercise that constantly reminds me that we never stop learning and evolving!
